Ellen Dyer grew up in Sugar Land, TX and studied musical theatre at TUTS and dance at Kathleen Parker Dance Studio. She has an extensive background in musical theatre and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Union. She has performed all over Houston including The Alley Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars, Main Street Theatre, and with Broadway producer, Stuart Ostrow. She choreographed a new musical called Kissless for HFAC in the fall of 2011 that went to the Off-Broadway New York Musical Theatre Festival and was praised for its choreography. Other favorite choreography credits include: Hairspray, The Drowsy Chaperone, Anything Goes, Little Shop of Horrors, Oklahoma, Thoroughly Modern Millie, West Side Story, and Oliver. Ellen has been teaching dance for seven years and her 2010-2011 & 2011-2012 competitive teams qualified to compete at Starbound Nationals Competition where she had dancers place in the top five for the nation. She was awarded the prestigious “Story-telling” choreography award and her team was asked to perform on television. Ellen performed professionally with Krysti years ago and is so excited to be working with her again and be part of the Wildfish Team!
