Be a Book Sponsor
Studies have shown that access to books in the home is a better predictor of reading achievement level than parent education level and socioeconomic status. Supplementing, or even starting, a personal home library of books children choose and love is an important step to increasing literacy rates.
Please join us in providing a Junie B book to as many young readers as possible to ignite and encourage an early love of reading through the antics of this favorite character. Books will be given to our excited audience members attending this Houston premier at Miller Outdoor Theatre while supplies last.

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER PERFORMANCES
This is a picture of me with one of the original nine Wildfish students, Aiden Snasdell. I met her when she was just 6 years old and I got the chance to work with her for 12 years before she headed out to the University of Texas.
When she was a senior, she told me that she wanted to create a show, an event, to leave behind an opportunity for Wildfish to gain a little help from its patrons. Many people never knew that we often awarded scholarships. Aiden believed that many families and individuals would seize the opportunity to contribute toward the scholarships we awarded.
She was right. See, we never would turn a scholarship student away, but with the help of this fundraiser we can cover the cost of upwards of 25 scholarships a year. I look forward to seeing everyone there April 6!
