AUDITION CLASSES

FALL 2026

All classes and performances will take place at Wildfish Theatre.

CLASS REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON TUESDAY, JULY 14TH @ 10:00 AM!

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT AUDITION-ONLY CLASSES

  • You are registering your student for an AUDITION SLOT FOR AN AUDITION CLASS. Auditions will be in-person on the dates indicated or by video as indicated. If you are unable to attend the in-person audition, contact us. An audition slot does not guarantee placement in an Audition Class.

  • You will be contacted after the audition regarding the placement status of your student.

  • If your child is cast, you will be directed when to proceed to complete your student's registration.

  • DO NOT register for an audition slot if you are registering your student for an Open Enrollment Class or an Invitation Only Class. A pre-audition is not necessary for those classes.

  • DO NOT register for an audition slot as a back-up to another class; if you register for an audition slot, we expect that your student will be available to take that class if accepted.

CLASSES & PERFORMANCES: Please review the class dates - we are very specific about what days we have classes and when we don’t and make sure your student is available for all classes. Wildfish Theatre has a NO ABSENCE policy. Please review performance dates and times under your desired class. Each class may have 2-4 shows and your student MUST be available to participate in all potential shows. The dress rehearsal is held on the final class day unless otherwise noted and attendance at dress rehearsal and shows is mandatory.

REFUNDS: Refunds are available through three full weeks before the first class. No refunds will be issued after that date.

Audition Shows at WILDFISH:

Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR. based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

Winner of three Tony Awards, three Outer Critics Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards and two Obie Awards, Urinetown is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics, and musical theatre itself!

In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

Inspired by the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, Urinetown is an irreverently humorous satire in which no one is safe from scrutiny.
