We remain committed to providing opportunities for even more children to learn, grow, and shine on stage!
HISTORY
Wildfish Theatre began in the summer of 2008 with a heartfelt production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Rehearsals took place not on a stage, but in the living room of a generous student’s home where creativity, collaboration, and community came to life.
Over the next two years, our living room stage saw the beginnings of something truly special. With each new show, Once on This Island, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Wildfish grew in spirit and in size.
In July 2010, construction began on our permanent home: a custom-built, 100-seat black box theatre. While we cherish the memories of our early rehearsal days, the opening of Wildfish Theatre marked a transformative chapter of providing young performers a space designed specifically for their voices, stories, and dreams.
Today, we remain rooted in the same passion that sparked our founding: a belief in the power of youth, the magic of musical theatre, and the strength of community.
